We send out an annual negotiations priority survey and prioritize our negotiated items based on what's most important to our members.
Key changes from 2025-26 agreement:
$41,500 base salary (raise of $500 over this year's base)
Addition of step 15 to the salary schedule, phased in by adding .02 to the multiplier in 2026-27 and .02 in 2027-28
Amendment of longevity increments to every 5 years starting with year 20 and counting up to 10 years of previous experience toward the longevity increments
$100 paid to new teachers for attending orientation in the summer
Addition of parent-teacher conferences as black-out days for personal days
Addition of language specifying how extended contract days are paid
Key changes from 2024-25 agreement:
Base salary increase to $41,000 (increase of $1000)
Addition of long service increments at 20, 25, 30, and 35 years
Increased amount of previous experience accepted from 10 to 14 years
